In her Vice President of Engineering role at Techsite, Jackie Kershaw provides the leadership and vision to strengthen the company’s current and future service offerings. Discovering a better way to do things is her passion and Jackie takes on every challenge with the resourcefulness of a seasoned engineer. Overall, Jackie’s expertise lies in the ergonomics of both workspace and high-tech equipment room design. It is Jackie’s objective that TechSite’s engineering team produce critical space designs implementing the most efficient and reliable systems and processes available.
Jackie has more than 25 years of experience using AutoCAD, working in projects needing both 2D and 3D documentation. In the area of infrastructure management, Jackie has assisted customers in the customization and implementation of general monitoring hardware and the Liebert SiteScan Web software package. Jackie also co-presented featuring Arc Flash, OSHA Requirements and the Effect on Data Centers as the LRITA 2015 Tech Conference in Lima, Ohio. Over the past years, she has studied and implemented the latest trends in telecommunications and computer room infrastructure design based on BICSI design standards, TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers and white papers produced by the Uptime Institute and other Data Center oriented organizations.
At a company that continuously earns the title “Best Places to Work” in Columbus, Ohio, it is no doubt that Jackie plays a large part in building that success. On a typical day at the office, you will find Jackie diving into projects that include her personal design work and quality control on documents for others in her department. Every once in a while, she may come up for air and check the overall status of her departments, but you will find that her hard work and dedication is her strongest talent.
In her free time, Jackie dedicates her time to her family and the community. She is known as someone who is intellectual, but also very grounded in her faith. On the weekends she can be found presenting puppet shows for the children at her Church and volunteering at the local food pantry. Her biggest accomplishment is getting her PE after being out of school for 26 years. One thing you will remember about Jackie is that she is someone who tries to do the best in everything she attempts.
