Organization: Mylan Pharmaceuticals

Project Dates: July 2007 – Present

Service: Mylan Pharmaceuticals contracted TECH SITE to provide a Conceptual Design and Budgeting for its Morgantown Data Center and Laboratory facilities. The bases for this design was to provide a dual bus fault tolerant UPS system for its data center and a single bus UPS system for its laboratory facility located in the same building. From the Conceptual Design and Budgeting Report, Mylan contracted with TECH SITE to provide Turnkey design and implementation services for the critical infrastructure. The design allowed the implementation of the project to be completed while keeping the critical loads on-line. The design included one 400 kVA UPS, one 130 kVA UPS, 800 kW generator, 1200 Amp transfer switch, air conditioning for critical spaces and additional equipment as required to support the systems. The two UPSs provide dual bus for the Data center and the remaining capacity provides a single bus to the laboratory.

TECH SITE currently performs infrastructure maintenance management at several Mylan critical facilities around the country. TECH SITE is under contract to provide ongoing Preventative Maintenance (PM) services including negotiating and implementing contracts with service providers, producing a yearly PM service schedule, coordinating service vendor work through Method Of Procedure (MOP) documents with vendors and client, coordinating service windows with the client, verifying service vendor work quality, maintaining service documents and logs of emergency services, maintenance services, and open issues, analyzing service work and maintenance trends, reporting to the client on upcoming needs and infrastructure status, utilization, and sufficiency, advising the client on future growth needs, providing emergency procedures documents and responding to emergency situations, and provide the client with a single point of contact for all equipment PM.
